Our customers at HustleHawks (the “Hawks”) have control throughout the task posting and completion process.
Here are some suggestions to ensure you have the best experience possible:
- Take a lot of pictures of your task
- Mark your go-to tasks as a favorite
- Set a fair price for the amount of work
- Be very detailed in the task posting process
- Determine a reasonable estimate of the expected duration time
- Try new tasks on the platform to see other ways you can benefit
- In the details describe everything you want done and supplies you are providing for the Hustler
- Complete your profile with a friendly photo and biography
- Communicate with your Hustlers and view their COVID-19 and potential background check credentials to increase your comfort
HUSTLERS
- Please be on time for all your jobs
- Filter for jobs that meet your skill sets and schedule
- Complete your profile with a nice photo and biography
- If more work is required during jobs, ask for an extension when the expected duration is about to expire
- Be friendly and courteous in all of your dealings with a customer (Hawk)
- Remember to rate your Hawk
- Ensure you leave the job site within 15 minutes of completion
- Good service is rewarded, 100% of tips go to you! (after payment processing fees)
- Only respond to jobs when you are happy with the task and price. No negotiation is allowed
- To receive more interest from Hawks please ensure you are background checked and complete as many COVID-19 checklists/certifications as possible
Hi, I am Gerald. I started HustleHawks as a first-year Business student at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada [back story]. I realized as university students we face significant demands on our time. There is limited time in the day to block off for work shifts between classes, extra-curriculars, and other commitments. I envisioned a way for students to make money on their own time, using their own skill sets. This is how the concept for HustleHawks was born…to help students like us support our communities.

OUR MARKETPLACE
HustleHawks is a revolutionary marketplace to get things done on your terms. You set the price! Many marketplaces allow the service providers to set their price for their service or negotiate the price with customers.
However, we do the opposite! The customer sets the price and the providers can accept the task if it is an enticing offer to them. Expect to get more Hustler interest if you set a higher price. As a Hawk (customer) you provide all the equipment and supplies for the Hustler (service provider) to complete the task. Our Hustlers are there to help you get it done. We operate in real time. The goal is to get your task done on your schedule. Your realistic expected duration of the task will be internally timed from the start leading up to an Extend or End option for you and your Hustler to agree on if you want more done.
We encourage Hustlers to initiate a background check on themselves to earn a verification badge. As a Hawk (customer) it is your responsibility to view the verification documents to help ensure your comfort with the Hustler (service provider). You choose the Hustler you want for the task, so you have full control over who you accept for each task you post. We allow you to choose combo tasks. If you want to get cleaning and yard work done in one task by one Hustler then you can create a combination task with the Hustler. This involves less planning and coordination on your part and helps us reach our ultimate goal of making our users happy! Another option is to break it up into two tasks with two different Hustlers to get both tasks done at the same time. The choice is yours!
